In Check Software was founded on a simple observation: operational teams of 10–50 people have the same technology needs as much larger companies, but none of the infrastructure to manage them. They can’t justify a full-time CTO, a development team, or an IT department — but they absolutely need what those roles provide.
We fill that gap. Our team has delivered software across regulated enterprise environments (including the Toyota / MS&AD insurance group), managed entire IT estates for growing contractors, and built platforms for independent businesses. We bring that breadth of experience to every engagement, regardless of size.
We’re not a body shop and we’re not a freelancer marketplace. We’re an accountable team that builds long-term relationships with our clients. Most of the businesses we work with have been with us for years — because good technology isn’t a project, it’s an ongoing partnership.

Operations Director & Technical Lead
Alex runs the day-to-day operation — managing people, projects, and client delivery. From architecture decisions and code quality to team coordination and client workshops, he ensures every engagement is run with the governance and rigour of an enterprise programme, regardless of size.
His experience spans product-led development within the Toyota / MS&AD insurance group, full IT estate management for growing contractors, and building the structured delivery processes that give business owners real confidence in their technology investments. Alex is the primary point of contact for all client engagements.
Lauren
Director & Qualified Solicitor
Lauren is a qualified solicitor and Director of In Check Software. She manages internal processes, contracts, compliance, and the commercial structuring that underpins every engagement. Her legal background brings a level of governance and rigour to how we operate that most agencies simply don’t have.
